Time

"Playing in time" means not only that your tempo stays solid but that all your notes are even and consistent, your note values are accurately spaced, your volume is intentional, and your hands and feet are lined up together. It can be hard at first to adjust to this level of scrutiny but playing in time is a skill that can be practiced and perfected. By working with a metronome you can start to hear how notes relate to each other at different tempos and train your hands and feet to reproduce the same spacing when you play.

Some things to discuss:

 - How tempo/time changes affects the energy of the song?
 - How to improve your time with proper spacing and volume consistency?

 - How to play with a click/loops?

 - How to program clicks/loops that help you sound and play better?
